During the "Great Emigration" from Britian Christopher Unthank came to Massachusetts Bay Colony, probably around 1634 or 1635, and settled in one of the eastern seaboard towns, most likely Salem.
The lack of full records of passangers who arrived in the Ammerican Colonies, and also the absence of complete records of the early towns, defeat an exact knowledge of the dates of Christopher's arrival and his earliest residence. Therefore, a certain amount of allowable assumption is necessary in statements concerning those matters.
